NOOR steel bearing plates are standard with a round hole for non-grouted anchors. Also available are dished plates for use with spherical hex nuts and keyhole plates which provide free access for grout tube entry. Bearing plates are customized for each application. Plate dimensions should be specified around the parameters of the project. In addition, corrosion protection should be considered along with specifying hole diameter and bar angle. Stainless steel plates available upon request.

End Caps

NOOR offers end caps produced from fiber reinforced nylon, steel or PVC to provide corrosion protection at otherwise exposed anchor ends. Most often the caps are packed with corrosion inhibiting wax or grease. Caps made from reinforced nylon and steel are used in exposed impact areas. The fiber reinforced nylon end cap meets the Florida DOT standards.

Life End Anchorage System

Flat anchorage Post-tensioning System
NOOR is a flat-anchorage post-tensioning system using 1 to 5 seven-wire prestressing strands. The prestressing strands have a nominal diameter / nominal cross section of 12.7 mm / 100 mm2, 15.3 mm / 140mm2 or 15.7 mm / 150mm2 and a maximum characteristic tensile strength of 1960 MPa.
The available anchorages are the stressing or active anchorages (Type A), the fixed or passive anchorages (Type F) and fixed as well as movable couplers (Type K). The tendon sheaths are corrugated steel ducts or PT plastic ducts, which are injected with a high performance grout.
The life end anchorage system is normally adopted for bonded tendon. The strands are individually gripped in one slab anchor head unit and transmit their prestressing forces by means of slab type anchor plate casting unit. The strands are stressed individually by means of a mono strand jack. The strands are contained in one flat duct which is made of corrugated galvanized or non-galvanized metal. To ensure corrosion protection and to give adequate bond strength, the tendons are filled with suitable cement grout mix after complete stressing of the strand



A wedge assembly typically has 2 or 3 part wedges with a spring wire retainer clip in a groove around the thick end. It is placed around a strand to grip and secure it by wedge action in a tapered hole through a barrel. Available in two nominal sizes, 12.7mm (0.5in) and 15.2mm (0.6in) diameter

Each individual wedge segment is examined for exact tooth shape bycomputer cameras.
Anchor barrels are manufactured from hightensile crack-tested basic material in a special process, and are only stamped and released for dispatch after final ultrasonic testing.
In this way, we ensure the highest industrial safety and long service life of the anchor components

Local Zone Reinforcing

The compressive strength of the concrete in the local zone (area directly under the bearing plate) can be enhanced when necessary by use of lateral confinement of spiral reinforcement. The rebar spirals are available in #3 through #5 diameters of Grade 60 Rebar and made to the project design requirements for diameter, pitch, and length. They are also available with or without a deformation pattern.

R82 Galvanized Metal Corrugated Duct - ASTM A653

NOOR Galvanized Spiral Metal Duct or High Density Polyethylene Duct meets all physical and structural recommendations for post tensioning duct as laid down by the Post Tensioning Institute (of the United States). The Duct is available in 2”, 3”, and 4” diameter with couplings and reducer couplings for all sizes.

R75 Polypropylene & Polyethylene Corrugated Duct

The stable characteristics of NOOR polypropylene & polyethylene duct are normally preferred where additional corrosion protection is desirable. Polypropylene Duct has been approved by the Florida DOT for internal tendons and is available in 2-3/8” diameter. Polyethylene Duct is available in 2”, 3”, and 4” diameter. Couplings and reducer couplings are available for all sizes.

NOOR-G Expansive agent for the production of shrinkage-compensating and high strength concrete

Product Description

NOOR-G is an inorganic product in powder form to be used in addition to the other components of concrete for producing shrinkage compensating and high strength concrete. It is a special clinker, burnt at high temperature, rich in free lime and whose minor compounds are calcium silicates, aluminates, Ferro-aluminates and sulphates. The use of super plasticizers is particularly recommended when using NOOR - G as they significantly reduce the water content and thus the potential shrinkage of the concrete to be compensated.

Super Plasticizer

Plasticizer is available and is used as a water reducer for ease of pumping grout through tubes at lower water to cement ratios.

Bar Chairs

NOOR provides the strongest Bar Chairs available in the market. They are made from fiber-filled composite material and exceed the strength of comparable wire supports by up to ten times. The product size is identified on the top of the product and on the foot. WE composite material offers continuous corrosion protection, both on the job-site and in concrete providing a great alternative to epoxy, stainless, and galvanized bar supports.
The line of Composite Bar Chairs contains points on the bottom of the feet that firmly hold the chair in place and feet that can be stapled to the deck when necessary. Composite Bar Chairs are grey in color (custom colors are available) to blend in with concrete and show virtually no change in strength in temperatures ranging from 0ºF to 300ºF.
